The idea for Inua Mtoto Foundation for children in Nakuru County came about as a result of a gap that was realized when handling children who need care as a result of being exposed to physical, emotional and sexual abuse, child labour, children soldiers or dry and substance abuse. The government funding in terms of social protection is inadequate and cannot handle many of the children or most of their needs. This program will provide a permanent haven where these children will be provided with basic needs, education, clothing and food and counselling among others.
